Under the UK Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) regulations, distributors (defined by as a business supplying Electronic Equipment to the public) are required to either provide waste collection systems for all types of equipment that they supply or join a scheme such as the "Valpak WEEE Distributor scheme". In this way we will contribute funds which will be used to enhance the UK's network of WEE collection points (known as Designated Collection Facilities-DCFs), which will predominantly be based at council Household Waste Recycling Centres.
